London

Today is the last day of our London trip. We have been here for 4 nights so pretty quick. It's my first time & Mel's second. She came here for her work visa a few years back but I've never really had a urge to come here. That was until I got here.

I love London! I just wasn't expecting everything to be so old. That's sounds stupid I know but it all just looks so regal as well as the huge amounts of history that comes along with it all. We've done all the sights, Big Ben & Parliament, Westminster Abbey, London Eye, St Paul's Cathedral, Tower Bridge, London Tower, Abbey Road & the famed Beatles cross walk, The Big Red Bus, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus & the list goes on & on.

We've been pretty lucky with the weather while we've been here also. It was overcast for a day or two but we haven't had any rain. It has mostly been blue skies. Just walking the streets has probably been the highlight for me. The buildings are all so big & bold. Four days is no where near enough & I can say that I will be back to London to check it out a little better but for now it's been a great little taste & has really excited me for Europe. I even got to see a castle. That's sounds special I know but I thought I wouldn't get to see one in the city.

The tube is definitley the easiest way to get around but I walking is just as easy. The distance's between sights is not that big & you will probably find something of interest on the walk anyway. We've been on a budget since we've been here & that's only cause we are travelling around the world & want to get as much bang for our buck as possible. We've been eating cheap meals but did go out lat night with one of Mel's BF Kate from Australia. We went doen to Covent Garnes which is a beautiful little area that once again is just so old & oddly enough looks like a movie set. I had bangers & mash & mel did a huge pie & veggies.

We're off to Morocco tomorrow so it's time to pack our bags.

So long.
